the MMC and Joey), Jackal (Jonny D'Ardo), Senior Beaumont (father of Joey, Ash and Avery), Luca, Crow (Atticus Crawford), Illi (The butcher of the Bay, Johnny Illium), Diarmuid O’Cronin, Morningstar (The Devil, Nate), Posey (Poe, lips sister), Grimm Graves (Lips father and President of a MC), Colt (Lips brother), Boar (Lips uncle), Aodhan O’Cronin (Stag), Viola Ayres (Coyotes girlfriend), Lauren (only girl who was nice to Lips in book 1 and daughter of the Highest Police Officer in Mounts Bay) SC: Joey (brother of Ash and Avery), Rory (Avery's boyfriend and later ex), Harlow, Annabell (both girls interested in a rich husband e.g. Killing and Information from the streets and places which are difficult to get to Wolf: is invisible, collects things, Does things nobody else wants to do and the stuff no one else can do. This is where the Butcher fights and where they are when Ash fights in the Bay. Viper: Bookie, runs bars and underground fight scene. Jackal: Drugs, Guns, Extortion, Kidnapping. So I liked 2.5 books of the series and the 1.5 last books of the series were not as good as the beginning.īear: cleanups and party drugs, looses all his businesses at some pointĬoyote: Tech Guy/ Security Guy, data/digital information Especially the setting didn’t do it anymore, because nothing in that story had to do with life as a senior in high school. So I had trouble to get trough the last book. I also did not like that in the fourth book Lips looses her badass vibe a lot because she is quite obsessed with getting laid by one or more of her guys. The story could have been set in College or even later and it would be more believable. I did not like that the MC’s were 15 year old to beginn with, but they acted like people who were at least 25, much more mature than teenagers. I liked the girl power, the friendship so seemingly different girls formed and became a force in their own rights. But she is also ambitious, because she wants to have a good life away from crime she wants to get the highest marks and with them she wants to earn a scholarship for college. I really loved, that Lips is not the meek shy girl but a badass and she hold her own against her Bullies.

A lot of secrets of the five are revealed and I really loved the girl power in this book.

The older brother pretty often makes an appearance and get them into trouble. Now Lips and Avery are best friends and she gets to know the whole group a lot better. I had to shorten the review so it's mainly about book 2. To read the full review go to Just drop out. This was a buddy read with the #cakeeaters from RHR.
